We always strive to provide great service, deliver high quality products and do it at a fair price. We don't have a formal price guarantee in place but we always appreciate the opportunity to match a competitor's prices. Competitor prices eligible for matching must be provided in the form of an official quote so we can ensure we're comparing apples to apples when determining if a price match is possible.


We ask that you provide an accurate deadline for your project at the time you request a quote. This will allow us to place your project in our work queue with adequate time to complete the project on time. It is also critical to contact us at the earliest possible point in your project. Adequate lead time to set up and produce quality products that meet a particular deadline is very important. The more time we have to organize and execute your project properly the easier it is for our staff to accomodate your deadline. "Same Day", "Next Day" or larger projects with short deadlines may be subject to additional charges depending on current workload and scope of the project in question.


Projects that require Signtek Industries Inc. to create new artwork or modify existing artwork will be billed out at an hourly design rate. Most jobs will require a design deposit to commence work on the project. Design deposits cover some of the labour time spent in setting up proofs before projects are given final approval for print. Design time rates are included in the quotes provided to the client. Additional time will be billed if the time to create the artwork exceeds the initial estimated time as a result of continued requests by the client to alter the copy. We will notify the client when we are nearing the end of the allotted timeframe set forth in the quote. The best way to keep your design costs down is to bring as solid of an idea as possible to our design staff so they have a clear direction to follow when creating your proofs.

Stock Artwork - Many projects will require the use of stock photography, vectors graphics and/or fonts. Where expenses are incurred in artwork acquisition they will be passed on to the client on the final invoice. We do not mark up artwork prices.

Proofs - Once we have put your layout together, you will be emailed a proof for review. Please carefully review spelling of all text, phone numbers, websites, logos, placement and scale of graphic elements and the overall design to ensure that everything is correct and to your satisfaction. If there are changes required please let us know and we will make the required adjustments and send a new proof for review. Once you've received a proof you're happy with we ask that you email us with an approval to print.

IMPORTANT: Errors found or adjustments requested to proofs after we've received an approval to print may be subject to additional charges.

In most cases we will provide a quote to the client for the job requested. These quotes are the best approximation of the final price for that job based on the information provided by the client. When you receive your quote please review the information to make sure quantities, sizes, materials and contact information of your payables dept. are correct.

IMPORTANT: Projects that result in additional expenses in time, materials and/or equipment to Signtek Industries Inc. as a result of uncommunicated, mis-communicated or incorrect information and/or unforseen variables pertinent to the design, production and/or installation of the items ordered may be subject to additional charges above and beyond those in the original quote. These additional charges account for the difference in the actual cost of the work/materials and equipment required to complete the job correctly.


We're always on the lookout for ways to improve and streamline our services. We're excited to announce that Signtek Industries installers are now able to process credit card payments on site through the SquareTM Reader. We can process your payment and email your receipt directly to your accounting dept. in a matter of minutes from finishing the job without you ever having to leave your place of business or having to find your cheque book. Talk about convenient!

Methods - Payments can be made via cash, cheque, credit card and PayPal. Please make all cheques payable to "Signtek Industries Inc.". We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Credit card payments can be made in person, by fax: 250.562.8317, by phone: 250-562.8367 or via email: admin@Signtek.ca. If you'd like to pay via Pay-Pal please send your payments to admin@Signtek.ca and include your invoice number in body of the email (bottom of the PayPal form). Dishonoured cheques are subject to a $25 fee.

Deposits - Design and production deposits may be requested to start your project. Design deposits are needed to cover the labour costs associated with setting up proofs before a job is approved for printing. Production deposits are required to cover the costs of materials needed on larger projects. Deposits may vary depending on the size and scope of your project.

Terms - Unless otherwise noted all payments are due upon completion of the work requested or at the time of pickup. Business terms are available for companies who qualify. If you'd like to be considered for extended payment terms please fill out and return our Credit Application. Once your application has been processed you will be notified of the terms you have qualified for.


We respect your personal and corporate privacy. Your contact and financial information will never be sold to any 3rd parties. Certain projects require 3rd party companies/contractors to work with Signtek Industries Inc. These 3rd parties may be given information that is deemed necessary (on site contact information for example) for them to complete their duties in a timely and thorough manner. Due to the nature of our industry we are often privy to information before the general public. If there are details of your project that you require to be confidential please let us know so that we can ensure confidentiality until such time that it is no longer a concern.
